The "mountains" in AZ

Ok, so they're not like the mountains in the Northwest, but I'll take it! We got out of the blistering heat for labor day. Thank you Mom & Dad Davis for the fun weekend!

Our little critter friends.

As you can see, our little munchkin is cutting teeth
at an alarming rate.

I wonder where Leah got those blue eyes.

Playing with Grandpa

We didn't get to go on a trail ride because of the rain.
Shayla was extremely disappointed, but at least we got to pet them.

Cousins. Colter has killer brown eyes.

My third Great-Grandpa is buried in Show Low and I finally got to go see his grave. It was so awesome! There's also a monument there because he was the Captain of the first handcart company to head for the Salt Lake Valley. The picture below is of the monument (with his great great great great gandson standing by it).

This is his actual headstone.

Definitely the highlight of my trip.

No way! We came through Mary Ann Dudley. Which one are you through. The joys of our Mormon Polygamy heritage;) That is crazy though!

I believe Bates. She and Mary Ann Jones were best friends and one wouldn't go without the other so he married them both. How would you like 3 wives' with the same first name? Crazy.

What brand of camera do you have and did you get a special lens with it?

It is a little nuts to say the least. I have a Canon rebel xsi. I don't really use the stock lens, I bought a Tamron 17-50mm that I keep on it most the time. I can't wait until I can afford the 24-105 L serious. I also bought an 85mm prime canon lens (f 1.8) that I love for portraits.

It's fun to see your blog updated. I love your pictures as usual. And I'm about to throw my camera out the window. It is causing me much grief.

I think you need to tell Leah to stop growing up she's getting too big too fast.
