Kyler's toe almost fell off... ... but don't worry. We got if put back on. Look how cute and brave he is (even though the doctor numbed the wrong toe at first?!?!). Much braver than Mom.
Ouch! What happened! I'm afraid of how I'd react in a situation where my kid gets badly injured. I can see myself being one of those hysterical moms. Knowing you, you probably handled it with grace.
Actually I didn't do that well. I pretty much stood there in the door holding Leah while Zach took action. It took my brother-in-law saying, "we'll keep Leah, you go" before I did anything.
Oh my goodness! It wasnt lady was it. j/k. no really, im so glad that he is somewhat smiling in this picture or I might have started crying. So glad he is ok! Update us on what's going on with you guys. We need to have you over soon!
Well we pretty much don't know what the heck he cut it on. He was swinging in circles on a patio chair when Shayla yelled "Kyler cut his toe off!" We thought it was the tipped over chair at first, but it was too clean of a slice. Something metal while he was spinning probably. Anyhoo, he's doing lots better and walks great on his heel! Hopefully it will heal ok and we can take the stitches out soon.
What a cute blog, but that toe, ouch!! My grand daughter cut her thumb really bad like that and when the Dr. said he would put it to sleep, he started singing "Rock a bye baby to it.
